Biography

The No More Starving Artists Foundation (NMSAF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering creatives. This 501(c)3 was founded in 2018 and its mission is to help primarily (but not exclusively) Palm Beach County artists be sustainable by providing opportunities and services. The vision is to build the legacies for artists .

The organization was founded by the nonprofit’s president, Trina Slade-Burks, and her husband, artist Anthony Burks Sr. of ATB Fine Art Group Inc.. Together, these artists and curators have worked diligently within the Palm Beach County arts community, providing insight, support, and knowledge to both creatives and non-creatives alike.

Some of the programs the organization has facilitated include the Young Masters’ Scholarship Program for middle and high school students; the CONTINUUM PB Arts Exhibition; the Art Ambassador Program for The Peach; BOUNDLESS: Florida’s Creative Resilience Exhibition; the Art AID Emergency and Grant Program; and the newly established Artist-in-Residence Program.

We help creatives of all disciplines learn critical business development knowledge, develop relationships that support professional advancement, and thrive in the creative economy.
